It incorporates a specially designed primary sealing lip energized by a garter spring together with an additional dust lip for contamination protection. Compared with conventional GP or TC oil seals, the GBP design offers significantly improved pressure capability while maintaining excellent sealing performance.

Its rubber-covered metal case construction improves static sealing against the housing and provides secure installation. The integrated dust lip helps prevent dirt, dust, moisture, and contaminants from entering the sealing area, protecting bearings and rotating components from premature wear.

Manufactured from premium NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), the sealing element offers excellent resistance to lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, grease, and petroleum-based lubricants. NBR remains the most widely used sealing material for industrial oil seals due to its excellent oil resistance, wear resistance, flexibility, and economic value.
